* Superpatch Update: The final patch for the Samsung Star. *

Introducing the Samsung Superpatch for Star! It is a collection of 36 patches that are needed in order to change the functions and graphics of the Star.

The main functions are:
Swf-changing menus, gadgets and myfiles in those in the res folder of mmc
Font-change in those present in the res folder of the cell
-Key for Google Maps refers to work
Flashplayer-to guide
-Screenshot
-Bypass restrictions due to low battery
Permit-off of the screen during the java applications
and others who do not remember …. 

Installation:
1. Take the firmware based MXEIL2
2. Download this archive and extract the folder of the firm (or wherever you want .. contains the files “Rsrc2_S5230 (Low) _SER.rc2″ el ‘”Apps_patch.bin)
3. Open the Multiloader and make a regular flash, that ‘”Update Complete” by choosing the boot, rc1, etc. ffs. but the firm using the rc2 extracted from the archive you downloaded (Rsrc2_S5230 (Low) _SER.rc2)
4. Now connect the cell to the pc and using “media player” put this folder “Cell Res” in memory of the CELL and “res mmc” in the micro sd. then rename them both from cell to “res” (the zip file already contains the theme “sense project for star)
5. Without this open again and flash Multiloader putting Apps in the ‘Apps_patch ,”that you downloaded from the store and make the first method as” LSI6410 “, without any update check (Full, Roma etc.).
6. Finally reopen the Multiloader (do not do the step 5 and step 6 in a single flash), and choosing the method of “normal” BRCM2133, put this check rc2 WITHOUT ANY update

NOTE : For this procedure to use this Multiloader

Furthermore, the patch also contains an amendment to the guidance of the cell, in fact once installed Superpatch, if you go driving on the widget, select any option it will open a “flash player” who will play the flash games in the folder res in mmc (1.swf, 2.swf) and you can just put the games you want in this folder and rename them in 1.swf, etc. 2.swf.

Secret menu patch:
If you turn on your cell while holding down the lock button &  the secret menu where you can see all the patches installed on your cell, turn on and off and much more.

Enable the patch:
1) turn on the phone, while loading with the bar, hold down the lock button
2) Now the display will show four options:
1. Patch Menu
2. Info
3. Tools
4. Restart Phone
3) Open Patch Menu with the camera button
4) navigate through the different patches with the volume buttons
5) Select the patch you want using the camera button:
Activation / deactivation
[X] enabled
[.] Disabled
6) Save the settings of the patches with the key block.
7) Go out with the call button and return to main menu.

8) With the volume down key select the item Restart Phone
9) Press the camera key and your phone will restart with the patches that you have activated!

NOTE : If the patch does not work, you will see  your screen turns white when switched on, calm down, just restart the cell and activate the patch (v above). Simple.

How to install the Superpatch :
-Install on your samsung star in MXEIL2 firmware (also not modded)
-Download this archive and extract it wherever you want (it contains “Rsrc2_S5230 (Low) _SER.rc2” and “Apps_patch.bin” files)
– Multiloader run and flash the mobile with “Update Complete” choosing the Boot firmware, RC1, SBB, … But the RC2 extracted by using the archive Have you just downloaded (point 2)
-Restart the phone
-Connect it to the PC and put it in this folders (in the phone memory put the folder “CELL RES” in the MMC and put the “RES MMC” folder)
These folders-rename into only “RES” (using the phone you can rename the two folders with the Same name Because there are saved in two different memories, mmc and phone)
Ans-run Multiloader flash the phone with “LSI6410” method and choosing only the Apps section (using Apps_patch.bin from the first archive you downloaded). Select any type of Do not Update! (Complete, Roma, …)
-Restart the phone
King-and-run Multiloader, choosing and using the method BRCM2133 this RC2, Another Time flash your phone. You Do not Have to Choose Any type of Update (complete, Roma, …)

DO NOT DO POINT 5 AND 6 toghether!

it’s a method quite Difficult But Then u can change theme Whenever you want, just changing a file …

HOW TO ACTIVE PATCHES:
1) During the boot hold the lock button
2) Now u have 4 options:

3) Open the photo button pushing Patch Menu
4) Navigate with the volume buttons
5) Select the patch u want to activate using the photo button:
[X] activated
[.] Not activated
6) save pushing the lock button
7) Select Restart Phone with the photo button
