Apple has introduced a sub $1,000 iMac 21.5″ for the education market, the new iMac comes with a 3.1 Ghz Intel i3 dual core processor, a 250 GB hard drive, 2 GB of ram and the AMD Radeon HD 6750 GPU card, the entry price is $999. This education iMac is a big win, but I still believe the price is too high for an entry-level machine, this could be priced between $850 – $950 in order to move a lot of them, a 11% reduction is a nice thing but this is only constrained to education market anyway
